Creative:
My first primary account at Havas. As my first foray into pharmaceutical advertising, it was quite an experience getting handed medical journals, etc., and being told, “here, make stuff with these, and make sure they’re legally substantiable.”
For anyone not familiar with how pharma advertising works, the legal stakes are very high. Everything you say has to be fact checked and cleared through a regulatory board before it can even be run as an ad. That process involves fact checking everything you say to (often medically peer-reviewed) published sources.

This a version of a brochure I worked on, an example of what the fact check looks like, and an excerpt from one reference text (out of 16) we used frequently.
Disease State Education (DSE): PKU Awareness Month Social Posts
Pharma clients often have parallel lines of business that are specifically centered around spreading awareness about the disease. The following is a sample of some of the (extensive) social media work I did for BioMarin’s DSE efforts.
